The first time Minho noticed it, he convinced himself it was a coincidence.
A bouquet of white lilies sitting neatly outside his apartment door. The second time, there was a box of macarons from a bakery he'd mentioned exactly once to a coworker. The third time, a novel he'd paused in front of at a bookstore weeks ago. By the seventh gift, coincidence had stopped being a reasonable explanation.

Someone was watching him.

The realization should have terrified him.

And it did.

At first.

The feeling settled beneath his skin like static electricity. Every time he unlocked his apartment door, his pulse jumped. Every time he stepped onto the street, he found himself glancing over his shoulder.

But alongside the anxiety came something worse.

Curiosity.

Who were they?

How did they know him so well?

Why him?

Questions followed him everywhere, slipping into his thoughts while he worked, while he cooked, while he tried-and failed-to sleep.

Every gift arrived at the exact same time.

6:08 PM.

By the end of the month, Minho found himself lingering by the door whenever evening approached, listening for sounds that never came, searching for clues that were never left behind.

The gifts kept appearing and with each passing day, the need to know grew stronger. Maybe it was foolish and maybe it was dangerous but Minho couldn't stop thinking about it.

About the stranger who knew his favorite flowers.

His favorite books.

The tiny details nobody else seemed to notice.

The stranger who always arrived at exactly 6:08 PM.

The stranger he had never once seen.

And for the first time since it had all begun, Minho found himself wondering something new.
