Young maidens are offered to the Dark Fae by the King so that peace between realms can remain. But with the loss of the crown prince at the hands of Dark Fae raiders, the King devolves into madness.

Marwen, a strong, fiercely intelligent young woman is chosen by the King for the Reaping ceremony. A place no young unwed woman wants to be, it certainly means death. The King's plan, to lure the Dark Fae leaders to the ceremony where they will be killed. A call to arms across the Kingdom puts Marwen in a precarious situation. Her ailing father has been called to fight and her love for him spurs her to do the unthinkable... She takes his place.

But will Marwen fight her captors or will she succumb to their ruthless charm?

The Korelash (literal translation Shadow Fae) are dark fae creatures who possess powers unlike anything Marwen has ever seen. They each have a beast within them, and sometimes they like to come out and play.
