Arumi has spent nearly six thousand years wishing she could die. Zamasu believes immortality makes him divine.

When Hearts' Core Area Warriors invade Teyvat in their campaign against the gods, they discover Arumi-a woman who has spent millennia pretending to be mortal. Kidnapped into their cause, she finds an unlikely connection with the one person she should despise most: Zamasu.

Both are immortal. Both despise the world that failed them. And each may be the only person capable of changing the other's reason for living.
