He only wanted five minutes. She knew five minutes would never be enough. To everyone else, Andrew and Sara are the perfect couple: two respected doctors with successful careers and a future already planned. Behind closed doors, their relationship is already falling apart. When Sara discovers his betrayal and decides to leave, Andrew cannot accept it. He is convinced that if only she would listen, if she could finally understand him, everything might still be repaired. So he takes her. Trapped inside an isolated house, Sara realizes that she cannot overpower him. To survive, she must give him exactly what he wants: her attention, her sympathy, and the hope that she might still forgive him. While Andrew plays the devastated fiancé, Sara begins studying the man holding her captive. Every conversation exposes another weakness. Every explanation gives her something she can use. But the longer she listens, the more the balance between them begins to slip, because Andrew may not be the only danger inside the house. And some wounds do not stay buried forever.
