Daredevil: When the Pulse Falters

Before Spider-Man ever swung across New York, Hell's Kitchen already had a guardian of its own.

Matthew Murdock is a lawyer by day and a vigilante by night. For two years, he has protected the neighborhood's streets, relying on a heightened sensory system that turns the city's noise into a perfect map of the world around him.

Until something changes.

A presence begins spreading through Hell's Kitchen without leaving any visible trace. There are no direct threats. No obvious crimes. Just people who start remembering things... differently.

A witness who cannot explain why he's certain of something he never actually saw.

A pattern hidden in the breathing of those who speak about it.

A fear that never needs to reveal itself to be believed.

As rumors spread and memories begin to warp throughout Hell's Kitchen, Daredevil finds himself facing an enemy that doesn't want to destroy the city.

It wants to prove a dangerous idea:

that fear can sound exactly like the truth.

But when the noise of the world stops following the rules Matt has always trusted, the question is no longer how to defeat his enemy.

The question is whether he can still trust the one thing that has always guided him:

what he hears.
