The Falcon and the Crescent Moon volume 1

JAPAN, 1548
The country fractures beneath endless war as ambitious daimyo clash for power and the once-glorious Ashikaga shogunate fades into a shadow of its former self.
In Suruga, Imagawa Yoshimoto rises with dreams of unifying the realm.
Along the frontier of Mikawa, Ashikaga Tadakatsu serves as his most trusted retainer-and the man he loves.
When a mysterious envoy from Kyoto begins traveling east, old loyalties, hidden ambitions, and dangerous truths threaten to alter the course of their lives.
As armies gather and the shadow of war draws nearer, both men must decide whether
duty to the realm is worth the price of the heart.

"Between duty and desire,
between the falcon and the crescent, only the heart knows the cost of loyalty."
