Architecture major Maeve Rhodes prefers her life planned and under her control. Between surviving grueling studio critiques and pulling shifts as a barista, she has zero time for distractions. She certainly doesn't have time for the loud, entitled, and aggressively handsome captain of the Briar U hockey team. So when Garrett Graham tries to charm her into tutoring him to save his failing Ethics grade, she doesn't hesitate to shoot him down, pawning the job off on her roommate, Hannah. Desperate to pass, Garrett strikes a deal with Hannah: he'll play the role of fake boyfriend to help catch her crush's eye, and she'll save his GPA. But Garrett adds one non-negotiable condition of his own, Hannah has to help him wear down Maeve's defenses. Suddenly, Garrett's chaotic energy is invading Maeve's apartment. He's constantly around, stealing glances, provoking her into debates, and slowly slipping past her walls.

❝BEEN HERE ALL ALONG SO WHY CANT YOU SEE? YOU BELONG WITH ME ❞ Sienna Di Laurentis had always known exactly how she looked to other people. Perfectly put together. Effortlessly styled. The girl who never seemed like she was trying too hard, even when she absolutely was. Fashion wasn't just something she liked - it was how she spoke. She noticed things most people didn't. The way fabrics moved when someone walked. The way colour changed a mood. The difference between something expensive and something that just looked expensive. While other people at Briar University were figuring out who they were, Sienna already knew the version of herself she wanted the world to see. And she built it carefully. A way of deciding exactly how she took up space in a world that had once made her feel like she didn't get a say in anything at all. Because before Briar, before the sketches and fabric rolls and late-night design boards- there had been football. Not casual. Not hobby-level. Real football - elite, competitive, structured around discipline and pressure and expectation. The kind where talent gets noticed early and pushed even harder. Sienna had been good. Too good to be ignored. She had lived in that world completely once - training, matches, coaches, pressure, results. It was everything she thought she was becoming. Until it wasn't. It didn't end cleanly. Nothing like that ever does. At Briar, she was a second-year fashion design student. Dean Di Laurentis' younger sister. They were close in the way siblings who argued constantly usually were. Sarcastic, sharp, always one comment away from starting something. But underneath it, there was familiarity. History. Understanding without explanation. And now he played hockey at Briar. Which meant Sienna was never entirely separate from that world either. She just wasn't part of it. Not really. Not until him. Garrett Graham was exactly what Briar University expected him to be.
