Ayden and Elio are currently the heartthrobs of China . their newest series Double Helix has been a massive hit all across the world and the fans are obsessed with their coupling desperately wishing for them to get together in real life.
but Ayden is a shrewd businessman as well. he knows what works in the industry. if pretending to be cozy with his fellow costar off screen is what gets the fans going , he has absolutely no problem giving them that and more, whatever keeps the viewers engaged right. no emotions involved on his side. However Elio cannot say the same. Ayden's acts just riles him ups a little too well and unfortunately he finds himself falling for the older in real life.
But everything changes one fateful day when he overhears something he was not supposed to. Love turns into bitterness when motives are revealed, masks are torn off faces .
Elio is left shattered.
The slow burn is gonna be real with this one.
Also if you have nothing to do with the drama or the actors, you can still go ahead and read this. This is a standalone book, bearing no connection to the original drama or any characters.
