What did that even mean? He chuckled at my deer-in-headlights expression. There was no way I would not remember losing my virginity to Jake. Hell, I'd memorize every second of it. "What do you mean?" I asked slowly, my stomach doing somersaults. Please tell me I'm jumping to the wrong conclusion. Pretty please. "Well," he started, a gleam in his eyes. "First, you grabbed the blanket and ripped it right off of me." I blinked at him, a horrified expression on my face. I slapped his hand away from my hair and turned around. Yup, there it was. Lying on the floor, along with my dignity. He continued solemnly. "And then, you climbed up on top of me." Could you die from your face overheating? I waited for my embarrassment to be complete as he tapped his chin, thoughtfully. "Yeah, that's about it." That's it? THAT'S IT? So I hadn't completely thrown myself at him. Just a tad. And the prize for the unluckiest luckiest horndog of the year goes to Lauren Can't Keep Her Hands To Herself Jules. I grabbed the pillow and smacked him over the head with it. Hard.

His Little Bird

24 parts Ongoing

Stepping out of the car, he takes large strides towards his mansion. He doesn't heed any attention to his men cowering in fear, he will deal with them later. Right now, his entire focus is on finding his little bird. Upon entering the grand hall, his eyes wander around relentlessly but find no traces of her. His muscles turn rigid before he sharply pivots and heads towards the garden at the back of the mansion. His eyes sweep across the garden before falling on her. There she was, nestled among the eye-catching flowers but his gaze was fixated on his pretty flower as she stood there in her yellow sunflower dress. Sensing his gaze, she looked up and a smile lit up her face when her pretty doe_like eyes met his gaze, as he gazed into those brown eyes with flecks of amber like rays of sunshine, time seemed to stand still. What he wouldn't give up to relive these moments endlessly_to see her smile at him with warmth and affection, to hold her in his arms and never let go. He wished he could confine her within these walls so she could not dare to even think about leaving him. But what a cruel irony it was that she wasn't his to look at, she wasn't his to hold and certainly she wasn't his to keep; she was the fucking wife of his brother. Too bad the devil within him believed otherwise.
