(it's just an introduction in a spicy way) The reunion glittered with voices, glasses clinking, music humming in the background-but Aditya heard none of it. He only saw her. Shikha in a pure red saree. Dazzling, devastating, fragile. Her long hair spilling like silk over her back, hiding the scar she carried like an unspoken wound. The second their eyes locked, she froze, then instinctively stepped back. Step by step, until the wall stopped her escape. Her chest rose and fell too fast, her fingers twisting at her pallu, when he moved closer-slow, deliberate, unshakable. Aditya caged her with one arm against the wall, his other hand sliding gently through her long hair, brushing it aside. His fingertips grazed her bare back, tracing the faint scar she thought no one would dare touch. Her breath trembled. "Aditya... don't," she whispered, voice quivering. "I'm not that girl you loved in college. Ranvijay broke me, used me, left me with scars I can't erase. I'm a mother now, with a child who depends on me. I can't... I can't move on. Even if a part of me..." her lips trembled, "...even if a part of me has started to love you." Aditya leaned in, so close his forehead brushed hers. The space between them pulsed, heavy with everything unsaid. His eyes dropped to her lips, his breath mingling with hers-yet he stopped, holding the tension like fire trapped in glass. His hand pressed gently against her scar, his voice breaking the silence in a vow softer than a whisper: "Shikha, scars don't make you unworthy of love. They make you human. And I swear... I will never let yours be the reason you hold back from happiness again." The air crackled between them-an almost-kiss that burned more than a real one ever could.
