The moon hung low in the sky, brighter than anyone in the village had ever seen. Everyone was asleep except twelve-year-old Lina, who sat by her window sketching the forest beyond her home.
Suddenly, a silver feather drifted through the air and landed on her desk.
Lina froze.
The feather glowed softly, lighting up her room. As she reached out to touch it, a voice whispered from outside:
"Find me before the next full moon."
Lina rushed to the window, but there was no one there.
Only a trail of glowing feathers leading into the dark forest.
And above the trees, for just a moment, she saw something impossible-
