Ilham Suleiman has three problems. The first is that she is, by any objective measure, a disaster. Not maliciously - she means well, she always means well - but good intentions have never once stopped her from spilling things, saying the wrong thing at the wrong time, or arriving at conclusions that made perfect sense in her head and absolutely none anywhere else. The second is that she is twenty-one years old, final year aerospace engineering, and her father has just informed her that she will be attending every session of the visiting lecture series this semester and she will behave herself. She agreed. She meant it when she said it. The third problem is Nazir Saad. Nazir Saad is thirty-four years old. He runs one of the most successful private aviation companies in the country. He is serious the way buildings are serious - deliberately constructed, load-bearing, not interested in your opinion about it. He does not lose focus. He does not get distracted. He has never in his professional life encountered a situation he could not file neatly into the correct category and move on from. He has also never, before a Thursday morning in a Wuse 2 parking lot, had matcha spilled on him by a girl who then looked him in the eye and told him it was his fault. It wasn't his fault. He is still thinking about it. Crash Landing is a slow burn story about two people who do not like each other, a semester that is longer than either of them planned for, and the specific problem of falling for someone when you have very good reasons not to. He falls first. He will not be telling anyone.

[PARTITION ROMANCE] 18+ She is a mute. He is a politician. And 1947 is burning around them. After surviving a brutal assault and losing her only family, Vrishty, a voiceless Hindu girl, is left alone in a town tearing itself apart. Hunted by the man who first claimed her, she hides in silence, until Meer, an emerging Muslim politician, becomes the only barrier between her and the chaos outside. Bound by guilt and an unexpected pull, Meer begins to realise his vicinity with the girl. But the nation which divided amongst the communal hate, will it be able to save these burning interfaith hearts, alive? __________________________ "In Islam" he continued quietly. "You cannot marry unless both agree... and unless both are Muslim" His expression twisted, a deep aching conflict. I shook my head, looking at him. As if almost pleading him. Noo...please....
