Hi, my name is Cynthenia Laurel Reyes, an incoming college freshman who's about to take up Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. Funny, isn't it? Everyone around me says I should be happy because "IT has a bright future," but the truth is... it was never my dream. My family chose this path for me, believing it would give me a stable life, while I silently buried the things I truly wanted.

Ever since I was young, I loved the sea. The sound of crashing waves, the salty breeze against my skin, and the endless horizon always made me feel free-like the ocean understood the emotions I could never explain. While others saw me as the quiet, obedient daughter who followed every expectation, deep inside I was drowning in fears, pressure, and unspoken dreams.
