Thurgood the Divine and Augustus (pronounced ah-goose-tuss) the Powerful are two reeds living in a creek near a neighborhood and believe themselves to be gods. This story chronicles their reign of power over their underlings, or nature as you may know it. Their daily exploits consist of taking credit for random events and observing the executioners and the torture they inflict on the Bermuda grass from spring until fall.
