After a tragic accident, everyone believes Park Jimin is dead.

In reality, Jimin survives and secretly lives under medical care while battling Xeroderma Pigmentosum (XP), a rare disease that makes exposure to sunlight life-threatening. Unable to pursue his dream of becoming an idol openly, he spends his nights drawing fanart and posting it on Instagram under a hidden account.

Most of his artwork features Min Yoongi, the leader and producer of BTS-the idol whose music helped him survive his darkest days.

Filled with secret identities, emotional reunions, friendship, idol life, and a slow-burn romance, Fanartist follows Jimin's journey as he fights for his dream, reconnects with the people he lost, and discovers that sometimes love can find you through a simple message on Instagram.

📖 Author's Note

Fanartist is one of my YoonMin fanfictions that I originally wrote nearly eight years ago on my old account. Unfortunately, I no longer have access to that account, and all of my saved data and drafts were lost.

Rather than leaving the story unfinished, I decided to revisit and continue it here.

I've also chosen to make some changes to the format. The original version was written in an Instagram-style format, but for this rewrite, I decided to present the story in a novel format to create a more immersive and enjoyable reading experience.

Since many years have passed and I can no longer remember every detail of the original story, some scenes and scenarios have been revised. However, the main plot and overall direction of the story remain faithful to the original concept.
