The Diamonds in her crown (re-write)

"There's a reason we don't get along."She says,calmly moving away from us and towards the door.
"Because you stabbed your twin sister."I say.
She laughs throwing her head back,when we just stare at her she looks back at us,something had changed in her expression,her eyes were hard and she seems to be shaking with anger.
"You really don't know.Do you?"She asks.
None of us answer her. She looks at us,her eyes scanning all of us looking to find a shred of hope,something that she could hold onto,maybe a hope that we could be normal again.
Finding none,she spins violently towards the door.Striding towards the door she slammed it on her way out.

It'd been years since she had seen her family,years since any thought of them had crossed her mind.Max sure didn't want to see them now,she had her own family,her own life and she didn't need them to ruin it again.
But the death of her foster family opens an investigation on her,and investigation that eventually grabs the attention of her biological's,in order to evade being caught and putting herself and her new family in danger Max must go with her brothers.
She won't go quietly,and she sure won't stay quiet.
Desperate to not be hurt by them again,will Max be able to keep them out?
