How to be Enough

My parents are the kind of rich people who end up in magazines. I'm the kind of person who spends way too much time trying to impress them.

Starting high school was supposed to be my chance to finally become someone worth bragging about.

Then I met him.

He was everything I wasn't: confident, charming, and somehow good at absolutely everything. Becoming his friend was easy. Figuring out what he meant to me was the hard part.

This is a story about first love, bad timing, impossible expectations, and all the things we don't realize we're losing until they're gone.
