Barney the Deadly Dinosaur
"He loves you. He wants you. He'll keep you forever."
For thirty years, the small town of Oakhaven has kept a dark secret buried in its past: the summer of 1996, when five young children vanished from their beds without a trace. No signs of forced entry were ever found. The only clues left behind were televisions blasting walls of gray static, and the sudden disappearance of the children's favorite, life-sized purple dinosaur plush dolls.
In the present day, three teenagers running a low-budget urban exploration channel called NothingButHorror accidentally unearth a sealed police evidence bin from the '96 investigations. Inside, they find a warped, unlabeled VHS tape and one of the original, strangely heavy plush dolls.
But when they play the tape on an old CRT television, they realize the show wasn't just a children's program-it was a beacon for a predatory, ancient entity.
Accidentally fulfilling a ritual fueled by curiosity, the teenagers are pulled through the liquid glass of the TV screen and into "Barney's World," a hyper-vibrant, infinite playground trapped under a permanent twilight sky. But the magic is a horrific illusion. The background children playing on the set are the hollow, eyeless souls of the original five missing kids, forced to smile for eternity.
Now, trapped in a twisted labyrinth of 90s nostalgia, the teens must outsmart a lumbering, seven-foot monster with dead mesh eyes before he harvests their souls to complete his permanent broadcast cast. "Clean up" has a whole new meaning, and escaping the playground is the only way to survive.
