Simba, the lion king and Nala, his queen, now have two children: Kiara and Kion. One day, the two lion cubs manage to get rid of Timon and Pumbaa, in charge of watch them and go to the territory of white lions who were once part of the clan of the powerful Kiros. There, they meet Kovu, a lion cub, son of the white lioness Zira and Scar. When he is a little bigger, Kovu will have the mission to recover Simba's kingdom. In the meantime, the carefree young lion cubs, far from their parents' problems, become very close friends.
