Thallas: Light Amidst Darkness

She wasn't meant to survive the fall.
She wasn't meant to survive what came after.
The world she wakes in is not silent. It watches from every shadow, every root, every flicker of unseen movement beneath the surface. Nothing here is harmless. Not the creatures. Not the water. Not even the ground beneath her feet.
And yet...
Something does not hunt her.
Something ancient-patient, intelligent, and wrong in a way she cannot understand-follows her instead.
Observing.
Waiting.
Deciding.
As she stumbles deeper into a place that should have already claimed her, the rules begin to shift in ways that make no sense. Creatures hesitate. The darkness does not close in the way it should. The world itself seems to... react.
To her.
But this is not mercy.
And it is not chance.
Because something far older than the forest has begun to take notice-something woven into the bones of the world itself. Something that does not forget.
Something that has finally found something it cannot explain.
She does not know why she is here.
She does not know what she is becoming.
But one thing is certain-
She was never meant to exist in this world.
And now that she does...
The world is changing.
