Rose Mantri has been living her personal hell since her Mum died from cancer just over ten years ago. Her sperm donor is obsessed with trying to make something to let people see demons, hellhounds, basically anything associated with hell.
Rose has been his unwilling test subject since her Mum died, despite the vow he made to her Mum. She has so many scars around her eyes from failed experiments that she can't remember what she looked like without them. Her sperm donor even removed her womb and tubes.
Her only friend, is a young man named Jonathan Christopher Fairchild. He visits her in her dreams, and in person when he can. He heals her burns as best he can, and promises her that, when he turns eighteen, he will protect her, no matter what. Rose trusts him, because he always keeps his promises to her.
After becoming his apprentice, Jonathan asks Crowley, the King of hell, to send a hellhound to protect Rose, which he gladly does, upon hearing her painful story. The hellhound, named Juliet, becomes Roses' protector and closest friend after Jonathan, even if Rose can't see her yet.
Then, after her eighteenth birthday, Roses' sperm donor manages to make a poultice that allows him and Rose to see Juliet. His mind is so far gone that he tries to attack Juliet and Rose, but they run.
Crowley sends a message to Jonathan, and the Winchesters, letting them know what's going on. Sam and Dean rush to the address, and manage to stop Roses' sperm donor.
By this time, Rose has collasped from malnutrition, with Juliet keeping her warm. Crowley soon finds them and brings them to Sam and Dean. Jonathan arrives soon after, with Clary and her companions.
While Magnus heals Rose, Jonathan and the others introduce themselves to Sam and Dean, and vice versa. Juliet stays by Rose the entire time, protective as ever.
