I think I am genuinely going insane now. The scent from earlier that I caught from Shawn is here in this very closet. Lately, it feels like the scent is always around taunting me. It has been a whole week since I first encountered its flowery and sweet existence. It always comes off of Shawn so he knows the person for sure but I wonder who it is. God I hope it is not someone he is hooking up with. I turn my head to the right spotting the rack for the coats and my eye immediately catches the pink hoodie that the scent clings to. I look at it for a second thinking of my next move simply trying to keep my dignity. Unfortunately, my wolf Koi stirs trying to come to the surface demanding to be near the scent. Before I know it my hand is clenching the jacket as if it would run away from me. I bring the hoodie up to my face and shove my nose in it breathing it in over and over again.

I do not want to come off like a pervert that sniffs underwear or something but this is going to be harder than I thought. Shawn said I could come to his reunion if I wanted to since we have been friends for ten years. I knew most of his family honestly but this scent is not something I remember at all. Even if I did unless I was eighteen and up, it would not smell like this to me. With Koi being so eager it only points in one direction.

And here I thought playing basketball with his relatives was going to be my biggest obstacle today. Who would of guessed that his cousin would be my demise.
