After Hours

If there was one thing Daphne Wright loved more than music, she hadn't found it yet.

Not parties and definitely not hockey or the jocks who think just because they toss a puck around could get them anything they wanted. Music had always come first for Daphne. It was why she spent most nights rehearsing with After Hours, the band she'd built alongside her best friend. Justin Kohl. The two of them had been inseparable since freshman year, writing songs together, arguing over setlist, and chasing the same impossible dream of making it big one day.

By the beginning of junior year, things finally seemed to be falling into place. The band was gaining attention around campus their crowds were getting bigger and for the first time the future didn't seem so far away.
