Avery didn't survive because she was strong. She survived because she ran.
But running is no longer enough.
When she's taken in by a small group of strangers, she learns quickly that safety is never guaranteed, and trust is even harder to earn. Each of them carries their own scars from the world that collapsed, each of them learning how to keep As Avery is pulled deeper into their fragile world of survival, she begins to realize the hardest part of the fall wasn't losing everything.
