Maddison Smith is the kind of girl everyone thinks they know.
Cheer captain. Golden curls. Bright smile. The girl who remembers everyone's name and somehow makes the whole hallway feel lighter just by walking through it. She's adored by teachers, teammates, and nearly every student at Crestwood High-not because she demands attention, but because she's genuinely kind in a world that expects girls like her to be cruel.

Taylor Evans couldn't be more different.

The star forward of the girls' soccer team is sharp-tongued, cocky, and impossible to ignore. With storm-grey eyes, black hair constantly falling into her face, and a reputation for keeping people at arm's length, Taylor has never cared much about popularity-or cheerleaders.
