[Trigger warnings at first chapter.] There's kid's who've got it easy, there's kid's who've got it mundane and there's kid's who've got it relentlessly tough. And then there's Joshua Bennet. Situated in the Norman's Freeman Psychiatric ward (E) and equipped with all the terrors in the world on this child's shoulders, the weight of his gift and the unfilled hatred for almost all therapists councillors and medical health experts breathing, Joshua is a troubled pre-teenager, to put it lightly. And all this time yet spent in the ward, not a single doctor has managed to get through this kid, his wit sharper than the knifes. Josh doesn't have any hope for himself; clinical, snappy and a rebel at heart he's always been. But when he meets his ninth doctor and a certain someone, Joshua Bennet starts questioning everything he's ever known. The process to recovery is gruelling and feared, and Joshua isn't strong enough for the road up ahead, and the potholes sink in too deep. Or so he thinks.
