For a teenage vampire-spider hybrid, navigating the grime-slicked lower wards of the city is exhausting enough. All she wants is to chew her strawberry bubblegum , avoid missing her drama-club curfew , and keep her custom pastel-pink stiletto boots free of blood splatter. But the desperate street punks of the slums are nothing compared to the nightmare waiting for her back in high society. Her aristocratic Aunties are determined to mold her into a dainty porcelain doll, forcing her into suffocating tight-laced couture that severely restricts her lung capacity and ruins her vibe. When the Kurogane Clan-the elite mafia syndicate sporting porcelain spider masks-boxes her into a rainy alley to reclaim their "defiled" holy relic, they expect a submissive high-born girl. They don't expect a pastel-clad natural disaster who will gladly shred her own expensive clothes just to breathe, flip a two-ton armored sedan with her bare heels, and unleash a volcanic shockwave of raw kinetic violence.
