how about a futuristic dystopian au where humanity hides inside massive walls while "dangerous" species are forced to survive outside of them...
Elizabeth at the centerof it all, who starts uncovering things she was never supposed to see after finding out the girl she thought died years ago is actually alive and working with the people her city calls enemies.
