The Devil's Orchard

In 1958, in rural Georgia sits a little town, Eden Grove, and on hundreds of acres of land sits the Eden Grove Orchard, the most successful peach farm in the Deep South. The townsfolk say its luscious peaches are larger than life, and people come from across the country to buy. The fruit itself is impossibly sweet, and the orchard has survived countless droughts that destroyed many neighboring farms.

The owners, the Beaumont family, have become one of the richest Black families in Georgia despite living through generations of discrimination, violence, and many attempts to drive them from the land. Everyone envies them, some publicly, some privately. Nobody understands them either.

And nobody is allowed into the Orchard after dark.
