Season two of The Next Track docuseries follows House of Reyes, a band made up of three sisters: Melody, Aria, and Viola Reyes, through the making of their sophomore album and the pressure of life in the spotlight. Over two years of fragmented filming, Aria, famous, and constantly observed, keeps crossing paths with Malik Carter, a quiet camera operator whose job is to stay behind the lens and document her life without becoming part of it. Yet in the spaces between studio sessions, tour rehearsals, and moments when filming pauses, a connection forms that neither of them can fully ignore. As the docuseries begins to shape real experiences into narrative and Aria's world becomes more tightly controlled by fame and expectation, their growing bond becomes impossible to hide-and even harder to define.
