Esther wasn't one for talking about her feelings, but Andrew's genuine persona made it so much easier to do so. A Saturday detention in March of 1984 had turned into a glorified therapy session, and ultimately, they realized how their fellow peers cope, react, and engage, and they simply became more open to emotional sensitivity. Despite what it may seem, everyone has a lot going on deep down, and judging them for it is pointless.
