Madelyn Koch seems to have the perfect life. She was born into a wealthy family, grew up in the public eye, and has always been expected to be perfect. But behind the smiles and expensive clothes, she feels trapped. Tired of living by everyone else's rules, Madelyn dreams of making her own choices and finding out who she really is.

When her parents suddenly tell her she's spending the summer in Lefkada, where her mother grew up in, her world is turned upside down. Forced to stay with her mother's best friend's big, chaotic family, Madelyn finds herself in a place full of freedom, family secrets, and unexpected friendships.
