Ashes Between Us [A last of us oc canon insertion fic] Polls now open

As you can tell by the title this is a canon insertion fic for the last of us, it is not done yet, I have a lot of decisions to make and will be running polls through the story.

We begin with two young subjects in an experiment, one female, Mae, who at the time had more protection from her family but gradually lost them after the experiments were done until she ended up with no one around but her brother and her best friend, the male subject Liam, who had already lost his family to begin with. Eventually as they reach their teen years the trio consisting of Mae, her older brother Lucas and her close friend and fellow subject Liam they make it to Boston where they thought they would be safe. This does not end up this case as through unforeseen circumstances the 3 get split one after another and find themselves meeting new people to depend on.
