Decay - A Zombie Apocalypse Story

Hey guys! This is the introduction to the story i've been contemplating writing for a while, so here it is! I'm still working on it, and it's nowhere near perfect, but leave me some feedback and i'll take it into consideration! :) Okay, enough rambling on! Here we go! x
Introduction:
This story in seen in the perspective of a 16 year old girl named Dallas, who lives in the countryside in the middle of nowhere. With no father and the lack of maternal presence, Dallas is left to look after herself and her younger step-brother, Oli. Living in extremely poor conditions with no support, Dallas and Oli are struggling to make it on their own, but with a deadly infection, which brings the dead back to life, outbreaking, life is only going to get worse. Follow their journey in a series of emotional events, will they crumble or succeed victoriously?
