This fic is set in an AU canon divergence where Isagi lost his parents at a young age and got adopted by Ego. The storyline closely follows the canon.
After three years of training overseas, Isagi Yoichi finally returned to Japan to join the Blue Lock project.
His commitment to the controversial Blue Lock project is rooted in loyalty to his mentor Ego Jinpachi, an incredibly twisted football fanatic with one goal in mind: To bring the Japanese team to win the World Cup.
The absurdity of his plan has left JFU speechless. Despite opposition from many sides and facing overwhelming disadvantage, he resolved to risk everything to change Japanese Soccer, and Yoichi is determined to lead Team Blue Lock and fulfill his mentor's vision.
