What if werewolves were real, but instead of being feared they were seen as warriors and protectors while vampires were seen as the true monsters? And what happens when they are faced with the unthinkable?
Eons ago the great wolf Fenrir created a new breed of Viking warriors called the ulfsblóðugr (wolf blooded), they were powerful fighters with the ability to change their forms to those of large bipedal wolf like creatures with jaws strong enough to crush bones and claws that could slice through armor. The Norse people would pray to Fenrir to send them these warriors to assist in the coming battles and over time the warriors crated bloodlines and with them packs. Maxine Greyfang is only 19 summers old and she's just been named the packs alpha since her fathers death at the hands of vampires. She faces many challenges as a young alpha trying to prove herself to her pack, and one of those challenges comes in the form of Lillian Andronescu the vampire princess from the brood of the same name. Lillian is cunning, silver tongued, and deadly where as Maxine is stoic, battle hardened, and just as deadly. Two souls destined to kill each other as enemies or do the gods and goddesses have a different destiny in mind?
