OFF THE RECORD - JOHN LOGAN

Talia Mehr has a plan that involves three simple steps:

1. Graduate from Briar University.

2. Build a career in journalism.

3. Make her family proud.

Falling for a hockey player was never part of it.

Especially when that hockey player is John Logan, who is, by her estimation, the most vexing boy she's ever met.

After a disastrous first meeting, Talia assumes their paths will never cross again. Unfortunately for her, Logan has other plans-and an annoying habit of showing up exactly when she least expects him.

What was supposed to be a one-time conversation turned into years of crossed paths neither of them had anticipated. Between late-night conversations, sarcastic banter, and always showing up when it matters most, Talia and Logan slowly become something neither of them planned for: the person who understands them best.

But when old wounds, family expectations, and fears they've spent years avoiding begin to surface, they'll have to decide whether some risks are worth taking.
