Haseena, a celebrated actress known for choosing stories over spectacle, has spent years quietly loving Anubhav Singh, the brilliant writer who knows her habits, her moods, and almost everything about her-except the one truth she has never dared to say aloud.

When Anubhav writes his newest film, set in 1980s Bengal, he creates Binod, a theatre writer obsessed with earning love and recognition from the audiences who applaud his words. Beside him is Anandi, a woman who loves him so deeply and quietly that he fails to recognize it until the very end.

As she begins preparing for the role, Haseena finds herself increasingly unsettled by the strange resemblance between Anandi's unspoken love and her own. And Anubhav, while writing a story about a man incapable of seeing the love directly in front of him, remains unaware-or perhaps unwilling to acknowledge-that he may have written himself into Binod.

Between scripts, theatre rehearsals, old songs, ordinary phone calls, childhood friendships, and countless small moments of affection disguised as routine, Haseena must decide whether to remain Anandi in real life too-or finally make her own feelings impossible to misunderstand.
