The light was bright as i stared into it. The memories of my life flashing past in vivid colors, making them seem so real. I'm only 19 but all the memories overwhelm me with its great mass. Some of them seem so real, i find myself trying to reach out and touch them. Suddenly everything freezes. Frozen on him, his crystal blue eyes, boring into mine. His messy brown hair gelled up like he always had it, making it look perfect. Also making me want to reach out and run my fingers through it to put it in its natural state. The state id see when he’d climb out of my bed at 1 in the morning to sneak out. The state when he was frustrated, or when focused. I try to touch him, needing his comfort. I can't move anymore. The realization of where we were hit me. A flower field, with a sparkling blue lake. How did i end up here? How is the love of my life standing in front of me? He passed what seemed so long ago… Is this a dream? Yes, it must be… it has to be.
