Once upon a time, before anything existed that you or I knew of, two entities came into being. Life, and Death. Life created rolling hills and ocean shores of the deepest blue. Humans, her most adored creation, came to know this realm as Earth Death made his own realm, called The Afterlife. But he couldn't create creatures of his own. So he enlisted the help of Life. Together they created something. Someone if you will. They were named disease. And the world would never be prepared for what their creators would cause. And neither would Life. (TWs:(because a story is not complete without things that could make people sad) we have: so much abuse, harm, disease, suicidal thoughts, more abuse, illness, neglect, if there is more I will add at the start of chapters)

Hunted by the man who first claimed her, she hides in silence, until Meer, an emerging Muslim politician, becomes the only barrier between her and the chaos outside. Bound by guilt and an unexpected pull, Meer begins to realise his vicinity with the girl. But the nation which divided amongst the communal hate, will it be able to save these burning interfaith hearts, alive? __________________________ "In Islam" he continued quietly. "You cannot marry unless both agree... and unless both are Muslim" His expression twisted, a deep aching conflict. I shook my head, looking at him. As if almost pleading him. Noo...please....
