The Burning Light

Samira is 19 in the middle of her freshman year of college. She's been a mother to herself and her 12 year old sister Nori since 5 years ago when their dad left them for another woman. Her actual mother either drowns herself in work or brings home strange men then does nothing. Absolutely nothing. Constant arguments, responsibilities that shouldn't be hers, work, school, pressure,stress, before Samira knows it she's drowning in depression. Not having anyone to turn to, her life turns into a cycle of the same things as her mental health declines. The light in her was slowly starting to burn out until she meets Dante, the boy with the dog.
