Larenzo is a trans shark hybrid. His dad is neglectful and still dead names him. His mom died when he was young.

Rowan is also trans but a human. His mom and dad are divorced, he mostly lives with his dad who still dead names him and hunts Larenzo's kind for fun.

When they meet up it isn't the best but they eventually get along... right? They end up discovering why humans and Larenzo's species hate each other so much and it isn't just because of the killings
