Iris's biggest concerns in life are finishing her manga chapters, avoiding social interaction, and convincing her roommate that their couch should legally be paying rent.
The last thing she expects is to become the center of a supernatural war.
After an accidental injury reveals blood unlike anything Heaven or Hell has seen in thousands of years, whispers begin spreading through the shadows. Angels search forgotten archives. Demons trade secrets in dark corners. Ancient beings who should not even remember her existence suddenly start asking the same question:

As the world edges closer to apocalypse, strange things begin happening around her. Hunters cross her path. Angels watch from afar. Demons follow rumors across the country. People who should be strangers become increasingly interested in her life, her safety, and her future.

Protective glances become lingering stares.
Concern becomes possessiveness.
Curiosity becomes obsession.
And the closer Iris gets to the truth, the more dangerous those feelings become.
