In Hartford, Connecticut, the lives of four teenagers intertwine: Gioia Sole, known to everyone as Joy - bright, exuberant, and seemingly living a perfect life; Colin, a former soccer prodigy forced into a life he never wanted; Amy, a lost girl, insecure and weighed down by regret; and Shawn, a boy as shy as he is gentle, shaped by a painful past.
