Sixteen years later

Lilah Avine had plans.

None of those plans involved discovering she was a witch at sixteen years old.

After a drunken night, a mysterious old man informs her that a Hogwarts acceptance letter was lost years ago and that she's been invited to attend a magical school in Britain.

Now she's being dragged into a world of magic, ghosts, moving staircases, flying broomsticks, and people who think sending letters by owl is perfectly normal.

To make matters worse, she keeps finding herself with Draco Malfoy, a rich, insufferable pure-blood who looks like he irons his socks and judges her life choices for sport.

Unfortunately, she enjoys annoying him far more than she should.
