Sadie, a girl who lives on an average farm in Colorado, was taken in when she was 9 years old. She now lives with her adoptive parents and 2 adoptive siblings, Susan-12 and George-20. Sadie is 16 years old and goes to a one room school house, considering it's 1897. The highlight of her otherwise dull life is horses. The only problem is she doesn't own one. She's determined though. Perhaps, if she could catch one, her adoptive parents will reconsider. Her plans are halted though when she learns a few new unexpected details about her true family-and her adoptive one.
