The Fight for the Light

This is a series of poems that I've been writing on and off for the last few weeks.
I've not written poems for over 10 years and all of a sudden started writing them again and figured instead of keeping them to myself like I did in the past I'd share them with people who may understand the words or relate to them.
While I do accept criticism, please be aware that these come from a personal mental space and they are a part of my healing journey to get back into expressing myself rather than hiding myself.
