The Hernton Affair

Joseph King becomes the youngest attorney to make partner at his law firm and while transitioning into his long awaited bask in the glory of self-made success, he crosses paths with Alice Mendez who is also new on the job and works as a legal secretary. In the following weeks, intimate tension builds up between them as they work together and finally, compromising behaviors follow. As they engage with colleagues, friends, clients and even family members with links to the organization, a shadow of lies, secrets and sabotage becomes cast over their affairs. Unexpected deaths occur and criminal law escapades take more personal turns than professional. Something certainly remains amiss at the Hernton law firm but neither Joe nor his colleagues seem to be fully aware of what it is until the very end when truth intertwines with reality.
