Years after the war, Izuku Midoriya has become one of the world's greatest heroes. To the public, he is a symbol of hope-someone who always saves the day with a smile.
But behind that smile, something is changing.
As government investigations uncover corruption, neglected support programs, and years of ignored warnings, Izuku begins to lose faith in the system he dedicated his life to protecting. Every tragedy that could have been prevented, every person who falls through the cracks, and every promise left unfulfilled pushes him further into frustration and isolation.
His friends from U.A. High School-including Katsuki Bakugo, Ochaco Uraraka, and Shoto Todoroki-struggle to reach him as he becomes consumed by the weight of society's failures.
Meanwhile, the remnants of the League of Villains take notice. Led by Tomura Shigaraki and watched closely by Spinner and Himiko Toga, they see something dangerous growing inside the hero who once inspired millions: doubt.
As heroes, villains, and society itself clash over what true change looks like, Izuku finds himself walking a dangerous line between hope and despair. The question is no longer whether hero society is broken.
The question is whether it can be fixed.
