I felt i had to tell my story because of the unknown... to make sure it got out there to make sure a part of me would exist...somewhere....

What follows is not a perfect record of events, but the most honest account I can give of the road that brought me here.

For most of my life, I thought I was searching for a place to belong.

What I didn't realize was that I was really searching for myself.

This is not a story about death. It is a story about life-the messy, beautiful, painful, and often chaotic journey of becoming the person you're meant to be.

From heartbreak and addiction to brotherhood, motorcycles, military service, love, loss, second chances, and the open road, *Footprints* is a deeply personal memoir about a man who spent decades getting knocked down and somehow finding the strength to stand back up.

These pages are filled with the people who shaped me, the roads that carried me, the lessons I learned, and the dreams that refused to die.

Most of all, this is a story about hope.

Because no matter how many wrong turns we take, no matter how lost we become, no matter how many times life breaks us...

There is always another road ahead.

And some of the best chapters haven't been written yet.
